Sun in Our Bellies

One of my favorite places to go to Sunday brunch in Atlanta is Sun in My Belly. Just look at that delicious fruit and granola, and lox and bagel!

It was doubly delicious this past weekend because we met up with the genius sister duo behind the blog Whisk Away (hi, Nicole and Katie!). I hope you guys enjoyed the Boursin eggs and honey glazed bacon.

Ah ha! Tricked you guys! Here’s some “fashion” too (sorry, foodie purists)! In order to get to delicious food, we sometimes have to walk by toothy, hairy monsters. They are pretty nice once you explain to them that they will be on a “world famous” blog (sometimes you have to stretch the truth a bit when convincing monsters, especially those that carry big sticks).

On Lar/moi: Ella Moss dress • June Shin and Snoozer Loser necklaces • necklace worn as bracelet c/o Novica • thrifted leather woven purse • (old) Jeffrey Campbell shoes

On Cath: Athropologie tee • F21 pants • Madewell shoes • bag from a small boutique in New Orleans • Target sunnies

Hope you guys are having a great start to the week!

  1. mmmm food. Bagel and lox is my favorite bagel combo. Have you ever had lox pizza? Done right, it’s the bestest ever! What about lox crepes? they’re delish too!

  2. That fruit and granola combo looks amazing. Suddenly I’m hungry again. Not fair.

Lovee that yellow bag. Perfect color for summer (and the rest of the year for that matter)!!!

  3. LOVE the white maxi, Lar!

And Cath, you always get it right with your figure-flattering tops!

And don’t you ever worry about shifting towards all things foodie-oriented & delicious.I adore the photos; they make me drool every time 🙂

Lar – your whole outfit is a major WANT. seriously, that white max paired w/that necklace is knockout.

Cath – if you were my sister I would steal your shoes FOR SURE. maybe your bag too.

  6. It has probably been a year since I have checked in on you gals! I got a new computer, & never “favorited” my old faves! Came here for some purse inspiration, since I found my most-loved purse to date (the vegan turquoise number). Love the dress, and that great buttery yellow bag (of course, I can’t buy it.) A lot of changes! (We were in Edinburgh during our honeymoon -wonderful there. Great veg. restaurant whose name is escaping me. My late father’s from Bells/hill outside of Glasgow!) Congrats on your wedding and big move, Lar. And is Troy “always” been around, Cath?
