Sooo I know not everyone is gaga for Gaga like I am, but I feel kind of compelled to blog about her today. Her single “Born this Way” is going to be released tomorrow. I’m usually pretty stoked for any new Gaga anything, but I’m particularly giddy because I already love the lyrics. Elton John has called it our generation’s anthem and the gayest song he’s ever heard. So that’s a lot of hype, I know, but considering the lyrics, I think I’m gonna love it:

    I am a GAGA freak. When BAD ROMANCE came out, I watched the video on loop for an hour. (ok, not that long, but long enough)and I love the way she performs.

    I’m not a big fan of Gaga’s music in terms of musicality, but for what she stands, I really have to applaud her. Not only is she a walking, living, breathing art exhibit, but she is also an exemplary human being trying to create awareness and equality.

    An arty activist/performance artist, who happens to do music.

    I love the idea of her!

    Cant say I am her biggest fan but there is no denying her immense talent and for lack of a better word “visionary style sense” (am in a generous mood today..lol) I do like many of her songs and she has come on with a big bang..lets see if it lasts. Hope so…..

    I heard it on the radio today for the first time! It is probably one of the gayest songs i’ve ever heard as well. I can’t recall the 80s song that she samples in it… but yes I’m sure it will grow on me.
