Lar has been trying to get me to do a tutorial on styling my hair in a messy bun for months. We finally got around to filming it last weekend. I hope you find it useful!
Since you can’t really tell what products I’m using in the video, here’s a photo of them:
Goody Ouchless Hair Elastics, a mix of hair pins and bobby pins, Tresemme dry shampoo, my hair brush from the 1980s, and Pantene hairspray.

Could you girls be any more adorable? I do messy buns or a top knot almost every day since I try to go 2-3 days without washing my hair.
you two are so cute! I’ll have to try it this way next time because my hair is so long now that when I twist it into a bun I always get an awful head ache at the top of my head.
i’m going to have to try this.my hair is just a tad short, though. at shoulder-length, it all falls out after about 5 minutes. maybe i just need more hairspray! 🙂

So cute-love it! I can never keep my hair up too long in a bun/ponytail-it’s really thick and it gets quite heavy! But I like this different way of doing the messy bun, may have to try it out!

I’m rather a fan of tutorials. I filmed about 5 videos worth in 3 hours on Saturday, with my cousin, Ria, all for makeup.
I love messy buns. (That’s what she said.)

Oh man I’m gonna rock the sickest messy bun ever now. All (bad) jokes aside it’s cool to hear your voices and ‘see’ you guys. I like Cath’s face when you say “look at yourself in the mirror”.
