The Sartorialist in the ATL

This Friday (tomorrow!) at the Hagedorn Foundation Gallery.

So tell me, are you going?! I’d really like to see The Sartorialist, but I tend to be embarrassingly starry-eyed and incoherent in front of celebrities. I was almost thinking I wouldn’t go, but will some of you guys be there? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to meet up and be starry-eyed together!

  1. I think I might go just to see what kind of crowd this draws, but I was thinking the exact same thing. Would it be super uncool to ask him to sign my copy of his book?

  2. Imagine how folks will dress up. I guarantee he’ll be honored to meet y’all and sign the book for you. Should be a great party. Atlanta bloggers will rock the place.

  3. Haha if you want to go you should go! I’ve actually seen him in person a few times in NY. He seems pretty approachable. I do like how everyone in the room silently watches him out of the corner of their eyes. Oh and if you had a book, wouldn’t you be super pumped if people wanted you to sign it?

  4. You girls should definitely go! I met Scott at the ’20s Jazz Festival in NYC (we, of course, spotted him in the crowd and got super geeked about it). And he was so, so freaking nice and personable. Far more friendly than I would have expected.

  5. I am totally going to be there, and glad to know that someone else is bringing a book to sign too!
Now the question is, how to bring the book and carry my vintage clutch?
I hear he’s really nice too.

    I can’t wait until tomorrow!!! ^_^

  6. I am seriously considering it! I really want to go, but I tend to get starry-eyed and ramble incoherently when faced with people I consider icons. I’ll call you if I head that way!

  7. go gurl, go! I get starry eyed, too! I met my favorite Beatles photographer at a rock and roll gallery (yes I’m a nerrrrd) and I totally forgot everything I wanted to ask him! 😐 You can’t go wrong by simply asking the Sart for a picture with you, though!
