Inspired by Annie Hall

I won’t go into the title of this post too much because, really, who isn’t inspired by Annie Hall? This outfit is an updated Annie Hall look sans hat. Actually it really came about because I’m so sick of wearing skirts to work. I miss pants and blazers and black tights, but we have at least another two months of hot summer weather in Atlanta.

Outfit details: Zara shirt, H&M vest, recycled CD necklace made by my talented friend Lena, McQueen for Target pants, shoes from Eviva boutique and a Saddleback bag.

I’m completely in love with my Saddleback satchel gifted to me through the Little Black Dress experiment. It’s probably the best quality bag I’ve ever owned and so well made that I’ll still be using it in 50 years.

Speaking of the LBD experiment (we mentioned it before here), Lar and I will be showing off our, um, styling skills with our little black dresses on the 20th. Check out how other bloggers around the nation have cleverly styled the same Ann Taylor dress here.

And because I couldn’t resist, here’s a photo of Boo Radley in mid-tail wag and his full-on Ewok look:

  1. Ooooh I like this this is a really cute outfit to copy for work! I don’t own any vests though. Hmm. Anyway. Point is this is an awesome outfit. Loving it! As always, you look great.

  2. The vest is amazing, but lady, I’m GREEN with jealousy over the satchel! I’ve been drooling over Saddleback bags for so long .

  3. The vest is the perfect finishing touch on this outfit! Annie Hall sounds like a movie I’ll have to watch if only for the clothes.

  4. Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the sweet comments. My recent shoe purchase from Aldo was inspired by Lar’s Forever 21 Buckle wedges. LOVE, I never forgot those Fabulous shoes. You Girls are Uber Stylish and have both inspired me with your sense of style. I bought round toe nude pumps last year thanks to Cath : ) Basics are always good for a wardrobe. Sorry for going on.thanks again

  5. Perfect!!! I love it, because it still has a feminine definition with the tightness of the vest, so it’s not too masculine to the point of overwhelming your body.

THe pants are a good length, too, to showcase your great ankles and sexy shoes.

I love the menswear look. I need a good pair of pleated pants with a higher waist, but I don’t want to spend $80 on them.
