Cath and I are sooo excited! We get to be part of The Society Stylist’s Little Black Dress Experiment! What is that? Well, check out Valerie Elizabeth’s Dress Diaries from last August here. She wore the same Ann Taylor LBD 31 different ways during the month of August.
This year, Valerie Elizabeth and her crew have asked 31 fashion bloggers from around the nation to be part of her experiment. A different blogger wears the Ann Taylor black dress each day during the month of August.
We’re not sure which day Cath and I will be posting in August, but we’ll make sure it will be up on AsianCajuns as well as the Society Stylist. Anddd…. there will be a way for you guys to enter your own LBD photos and win some goodies! Details forthcoming.
Happy Monday! We hope you all had a lovely weekend and that this day slips by painlessly.

July 30th, 2010 at 9:12 pmWhoa super cool. That’s a really cool idea, although us guys have been wearing the same thing for months at a time for awhile now…just sayin. Although it’s probably way less stylish and way more gross then when girls do it.
Oh and as to your question about the fishing creels-I just use them as random objects-I actually keep the big one hanging off that chair. Although most of them are made to take straps-you could make like a Chanel backpack out of one…

August 5th, 2010 at 2:42 amI’m just dying to see how you guys style the LBD. I went to societystylist today and saw a few of the different stylings, and am kind of in LOVE with the dress. I love the sleeves and the waistband… too cute!
BUT… Is it just me or should they have picked a simpler, more basic LBD? I mean, I love it and all, but with the waist already defined with the large detailing, and the sleeves rolled and tabbed, it kind of limits the ways it can be styled, other than wearing a jacket over it, and accessorizing. A dress like Danielle’s LBD Mondays Dress would have worked a lot better!
