Photo from The Review by Nate.
Cath and I love Charleston: the history, the gorgeous houses, the beach, the food. and the people! One of my besties lives there, so my bf and I headed to the coast last weekend to visit him and his bf. I was a reluctant photographer over the weekend, so I swiped a few of these from Nate. If you need to know where to go and (more importantly) what to eat and drink when in Charleston, go to Nate’s blog The Review: heavenly photos and witty tips.
We spent the evenings strolling the historic alleyways of Charleston and sipping (okay, downing) some delicious cocktails on roof-top bars.
In between drinks, we also ate real food (dinner at Lucca and brunch at High Cotton). Below is a photo of the heavenly, heavenly banana and nutella turnover I swooned over at a little coffee shop.
We topped off our pre-cocktail drinks with a round of white Russians (my favorite!). Pst the writer of The Review, my bestie, is on the right (our bfs are in the muddle).
I hope you guys have a wonderful Friday and weekend! Drink a white Russian for me 😉
So sad I couldn’t it make it that weekend. And I love how my sis drinks the same thing as The Dude.
I missed you too, Kitcath!!! And The Dude and I have so much in common apart from our drink of choice- obviously 😉
Looks like fun!
Your dress is so perfect for this outing! Perfect!
I love Charleston! So much character and, of course, fabulous drinks.
I’ve been brainstorming on places for Hubby and I to visit, and this post convinced me to put Charleston on the list!
Btw, what a cute white dress!

You Look Fabulous as usual ! The white dress with the gold heels is perfect !
My godfather lives in Charleston. Great city, good food. Just too hot for me! My inner northerner cringes at the thought of summertime in that city.
ps. you can send me one of those turnovers whenever you want.
This looks like fun and that banana and nutella turnover thing looks yummmy!!
I’ve never been to Charleston but it sounds beautiful. You look so lovely in the white dress. Sounds like you had a fun time!

That food looks delish! And I love white russians. Hope you girls are doing well, I’m so jealous of all your traveling. You look beautiful.
I adore Charleston. I would love to move there some day. The first time I visited, I looked up everything I needed to do to go to University (or is it College) of Charleston. They don’t have my program.
It is a nice blog. Yes you have written good things here.
