Things I’m Loving Right Now

1.) My new Dolce Vita Blakely top – asymmetric sleeves, soft jersey, loose fit around the middle (no need to suck in the stomach!) and perfect for work or going out. In the photo, I’m wearing it with a pencil skirt and heels, but I’d love to pair it with some super skinny, cropped black trousers and ballet flats.

2.) Arrow ring by Low Luv x Erin Wasson. I’ve been looking for an inexpensive gold ring that has stacking potential. Plus, Low Luv is Erin’s only design partnership now that RVCA has dumped her.

3.) Popeye’s Red Beans and Rice. I always love red beans and rice, especially when my mom makes them, but sometimes I get a HUGE craving for the Popeye’s version. I don’t know what they put in it, but it’s delicious, fast food, Cajun goodness in a cup.

  1. Popeyes Totally Rocks ! I used to go there all the time in TX.
Your top is Super Cute ! I love the Asymmetric Sleeves. Very Modern.

  2. omg love the top! it looks so great and perfect for all seasons 🙂 the ring is great also and I know exactly what you mean about finding that special fast food version of an irresistible comfort food. xx

  3. good recommend on the erin wasson collaboration – I didn’t know about it before and i love the arrow ring.

mm i wish we had red beans and rice more around where i am – we don’t get that kind of food up north here!

  4. Whoa! I just tried Popeye’s red beans and rice in the Dallas Fort Worth airport last weekend, and loved it! It’s not often you love a food you try in an airport.

  5. I have never been to Popeyes. They only one near me is the one at Ponce and Monroe and I don’t have a great feeling about the cleanliness of that place.

  6. Hey Cath! Great buys! I love the drape of the top and your hair looks cute 🙂 I’ve never tried their red beans and rice and am not 100% sure I’ve ever tried Popeye’s! 🙂 xo, mel

  7. love the ring (and the top). i wonder if erin wasson was dumped b\c she made more ridiculous comments about how fashionable homeless people are because they pull their clothes out of garbage cans. lord.

  8. This blog is always so fun to surf onto! I love both the shirt and ring. My problem with Popeye’s is I’m like a hamster–I don’t know when to stop eating. I buy a bucket of their spicy crispy fried chicken and will actually eat and eat until I keel over. It’s kind of sad. No self restraint. =*(
