Ready for Spring
It’s been absolutely gorgeous this week in Atlanta – finally beginning to feel like spring and Lar and I are feeling a little less grumpy and stressed. Warmer weather means lighter layers and no more winter coats. . . for now. . . there’s the very slim chance that it still might snow in March.
This outfit is as unabashedly girly/Lindsey Price-esque as I usually get. Sometimes I wish I had more fun, girly dresses, but I’m always attracted to darker, simple silhouettes at the store.
Dress and cardi from H&M, Spanx tights from Kaleidoscope, boots from Carrefour in Murcia Spain seven years ago, Urban Outfitters hat, Ann Klein watch.
The outfit below is basically my fallback look for fall/spring weekends – skinny pants, boots and my faux-leather bomber, which is slowly peeling apart – damn you H&M for your low quality, but brilliantly trendy clothes!
H&M faux-leather bomber jacket, Uniqlo plaid shirt, AA tank, Cheap Monday cords and Naturalizer boots.

Oh, I love the boots in the first outfit. Yeah, poor quality, trendy clothes… that’s the trade-off even I live with sometimes. But they look good and that’s great. Was wondering if you girls would like to exchange links…

Your LP-esque look, head to toe I love it!
What’s the deal H&M? I mean, I know it’s super duper affordable but still, it’s frustrating when that happens. Hopefully you find a fabulous thrifted/vintage one that’ll last you forever and ever

You guys look lovely, I’m constantly in my leather jacket in spring. It’s the perfect weight. But mine is also H&M and slowly coming apart. How tragic.

Your outfit and apartment is fab. I mean FAB. FAB. Those frames without photos in them are a brilliant idea!

The first outfit is very feminine. The second looks more for a night out! Both are great.

Totally LP-esque! It is so funny that you wrote that too because I was actually thinking it before I even read your post. Love this look!!

Very chic outfits – the beret in the 1st one really completes the look. I think H&M clothing is really cool too and I totally share your frustration with the low quality of the clothes, such a shame.

You look like a lovely French ingenue in the first outfit! I love the muted colors–I’m really into mixing neutral shades lately.

Well, you look outstanding in darker, simple silhouettes, so that’s probably part of the attraction. It’s good to wear clothing that suits you. Although a little whimsy never hurts.
