My Kind of Nature

We spent 4th of July up in Dahlonega, Georgia with our lovely family and bfs barbecuing and eating s’mores. This isn’t much of an outfit (t-shirt and shorts- come on, Lar!), but I had to take a picture with the canoes. Cath had a much cuter outfit on which she’ll show you tomorrow.

I did accessorize though! The leather bracelet on the far left and the turquoise necklace are from NOVICA, whom I now love, love, love. I plan to use them in the future to buy unique gifts for loved ones. Each package is carefully wrapped and as gorgeous as whatever you buy, and it’s all super-reasonably priced.

We hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

  4. In this heat, sometimes a tshirt and shorts is the best we can manage. Love the boats, I haven’t been canoing/kayaking/paddleboating in too long.

  5. The boat picture is a really great play on colour around your neck against the colour peeling off the boats. Red and aqua green. I love it!

That’s a nice trip. I wish we’d done something holiday-y this weekend, but we didn’t, other than run in the forest and have an attempt at a dip in the lake–which we found out, once we got on the beach, that pets are not allowed. A 45lb terrier was sorely disappointed, as was his mummy. Then we had grilled fish at my mum in law’s house and that’s about it. Did nothing on the 4th but watch TV.

    XX.

  6. Oh my gosh, at first my eyes widened and I was going to (Internet) holler, “You guys went canoeing? Or rowing? Awesome!!!” Either way, it sounds like you had a relaxing holiday weekend.
