Another AsianCajun Give-Away!

Lar and I haven’t done a give-away in a while, so we’re really excited about this! After discovering Shabby Apple through Dressed Up Like a Lady, we’ve been hooked and now we can get you hooked too.

One lucky reader will get this fabulous Shabby Apple summer dress:

Readers, meet the Shabby Apple Tuileries dress. Gorgeous, non? This is the point where I’d write something impressive in French to stick with the theme, but Lar is the only one out of the two of us who actually took French. So instead, I’ll post another photo of the Tuileries:

To enter the give-away, leave us a comment on this post telling us your favorite item (dress, accessory etc.) on Shabby Apple and why and we’ll randomly pick a winner. Also make sure to leave your email address or a link so we can get in touch with you.

Good luck – and all that!

ps- We’ll choose a winner Friday and post about it Saturday. Comments for this post will close at 11:59 pm on Thursday.

  1. Ahhh I love that yellow dress!! Everything on that site is gorgeous and so classy, but with summer here, that yellow dress would be PERFECT for all the events I have to go to! The silhoutte and detail are everything I want in a summer dress. Pick me please!!

  2. Stunning dresses and accessories on Shabby Apple! My fave is the West Coast Swing red dress – it’s sophisticated and original – I love the colour most of all!

  3. One of my friends recently discovered Shabby Apple and I’ve been drooling over their dresses ever since!

The item to have in my shopping bag is the Cape Cod White Shirt Dress- breezy, flowy, easy to dress up or down, and a staple in any summer wardrobe! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Ooh, I LOVE Shabby Apple! Just about everything is my favorite, but right now I am smitten with the new Paris line! Tres bien!

  5. First of all, thanks ladies, for introducing me to this site! I’m a newbie!! Secondly, I’m pretty much coveting all the jewelry here — so funky yet simple. I’m in love with that Moroccan Sunset Ring. and (ahem) that gorge yellow dress. It just so happens to be me my fave fave summertime color to wear but I can never find the right dress for it! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  6. Oh, wow. I love the 1949 collection! West Coast Swing, G. Cooper and Lindy Hop are all amazing. All seem perfectly appropriate for where I work, but would be easy to dress up for going out.

What an amazing site–you can shop by body type! Azure Coast and Trapeeze are also both very lovely, and were suggested based on my build. Wonderful!

  7. My favorite dress is the Ingrid. It is a little flirty, definitely feminine and all around sexy. I love pretty much all the dresses on the site. I’m in a transitional stage in my life where I no longer feel right shopping in the “junior’s” section at any department store and neither does shopping in the “woman’s” section make me feel any better. Shabby Apple is the perfect in between.

  8. such a fabulous giveaway!
i love practically the entire collection on the site.but i think my favorite actually is Tuileries!!!
i could totally see myself in that beautiful shade of yellow.a color that is surely lacking in my wardrobe.

  9. cute dress!!! perfect for the summer. i want! and would look totally cute with my new shoes (JS dany). totally loving the Champs Elysees, it can be worn for many diff occasions. i can wear it to work, brunch, church, baby shower, bridal shower, etc.

  10. the G. Cooper dress is my favorite–it’s just so classic and classy! i could imagine wearing it ANYwhere, as it could easily be dressed up or down, for any season! thanks for the giveaway entry ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. I think it’ll have to be the Tuileries dress ftw. The colour is so beautiful and cheery for summer and I can picture myself wearing this dress to work or out with the boy. ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. I think most of their dresses qualify as my favorite! I really love the Bonheur dress though – perfect for any and all summer occasions!

  13. Geez, thanks for introducing yet another awesomely affordable fashion site! No, seriously, thank you:)

I’m diggin on the Coney Island dress. I bet that empire waist works wonders for us shorties. Might have to get it!

  15. I just can’t get away from the classic nature and clean lines of Oh La La. The top hearkens back to Cath’s Classic Stripes post. Both very now and very timeless and classic, this look fits my style perfectly.

  16. I love this website of dresses! Has anyone every ordered from here before that can attest to how true to size they run? I love the crimson West Coast Swing dress, but it doesn’t look like there’s any more in XXS. ๐Ÿ™

    1. Ooops, I forgot to mention that the reason why I totally ADORE the West Coast Swing dress is not only the vivid color, but the elegant drape of a cowl neck dress!

  17. Great clothes. My favorite would have to be Bugle Boy, there’s something about that rosette on the front that I looooove.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  18. First off, thanks so much for introducing me (and your panoply of other readers) to this new site! I donโ€™t want to gab too much about how much I love your blog because the purpose of this post is fashion-oriented, but I love it so much! (Right up there with Karla from Karlascloset and Rumi from Fashiontoast for me!) My favorite piece from Shabby Apple is the San Gabriel dress (http://www.shabbyapple.com/p-580-san-gabriel.aspx). Iโ€™ve always been a sucker for military-chic, so itโ€™s really not a surprise to me that I fell for this garb. However, the thing that attracted me to this unique dress is not my obsessive love for everything military-inspired but the perfect, almost blithe combination of feminine and masculine elements that exists in this dress. Whenever I wear military-style jackets, I always feel as if I need to balance that more-than-usual-level of machismo with something girlier. This dress is perfect because it does just that. The masculinity of the military inspired style contrasts perfectly with the feminine ruffles and collar. The light-grey color also serves this purpose; its quality is such that it looks almost like a fair, delicate, ethereal blue. On top of it all, at $86, this dress is affordable! (Which, for people like me, is probably much more of an important deciding factor than we give it credit.)

Thanks so much for doing the give-away (and for reading this lengthy crap)!

    1. Thanks so much for the sweet comment, Schuyler! And we love long comments. Thanks so much for reading ;)- and entering the contest!

  19. I actually LOVE the dress you are giving away the most- although bright yellow kind of scares me but I will conquer it!!!
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  20. As a grad student, I don’t have many opportunities to splurge on vintage pieces. I love virtual shopping though! I love bright colors and the Broadway dress really caught my eye! ^__^

  21. I love the Ingrid dress because not only do I like the 1943 collection, but it is two tone and has a lovely pencil skirt shape with somber colors while still being sophisticated and upbeat with the the white top.

  22. I love the plain cranberry dress – Washington square park
it has the pefect cut, a beautiful taille, with half sleeves. just perfect.
doesnt matter which shoes or bag, this dress speaks for itself.
    gorgeous.

  23. *Note to self: remember to include Victoria in the random draw (she can’t comment in wordpress and sent us an email instead).

  24. What a great website–love it! The Champs Elysee dress is adorable–perfect for work or play. And I especially like it since I’ll be going to Paris soon.

  25. Rendezvous is probably my favourite, honestly. It’s the best and most versatile. Plus it’s white so it keeps a girl cool on these hot summer days.

  26. So many cute items on the Shabby Apple site!

In addition to the gorg yellow dress, I’m lusting after the red frilly one piece (Sutherland Point). It’s so retro and classic all at once.

  27. SO many to choose from.I’d have to go with Madison Ave, L’Opera, or the San Gabriel with a pair of Georgi shoes on my feet. ๐Ÿ™‚
    Thanks ladies~
